Billecart-Salmon : Vintage 2006

The Vintage 2006 of the Champagne House Billecart-Salmon is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay. This strong character champagne combines the personality of the former and the subtlety of the latter. The Billecart-Salmon 2006 vintage was partially aged (20%) on barrels of 5 wines and benefits from an extra-brut dosage. It has an intense golden yellow robe associated with an abundant and dynamic effervescence. On the nose, it is intense with riped fruits and bun notes. The aromatic expression is mastered and foreshadows a nice freshness and great refinement. On the palate, its seduces due to its rich flavors brought by a careful winemaking and a slowly growing creamy mousse. The palate is broad and balanced with a persistent finish.
