Confected, candied cherry fruit. Certainly flavoursome, but the fruit has a slightly generic quality. Quite a bit of acetic aroma too. (RH)

Complex aromas and flavors of macerated cherry, plum, eucalyptus, tobacco and mineral are the hallmarks of this sweet yet structured Brunello. Balanced and approachable now, yet this should develop well. Fine length. Best from 2018 through 2030. 1,100 cases made, 250 cases imported.

A very ripe style with prune, berry and salted-nut aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, savory intensity and a long, flavorful finish. Lots of juicy, fabulous fruit. Shows the greatness of the vineyard. Drink now or hold.

Wild berry, sunbaked soil, chopped mint, leather and menthol aromas meld together on this impressive wine. The bright, juicy palate doles out ripe wild cherry, crushed raspberry, mint, anise, clove and a hint of tobacco. Fresh acidity and velvety tannins offset the chewy fruit flavors and lend balance. Drink through 2023.
