Vertdevin
The wine shows a medium-intensity ruby color with faint purplish highlights. The nose is initially closed, but opens up after aeration. It reveals a lovely juicy character of ripe fruit (Morello cherry, red cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, juicy blueberry, blackberry, black plum), combined with a мяг, textured chocolatey side (dark chocolate, chocolate-covered Morello cherry, cocoa), gently sweet spice notes (vanilla, licorice, nutmeg, a hint of white pepper), as well as toasted notes (toasted hazelnut, toasted oak), floral nuances (violet), resinous notes (warm pine needles, pine bark) and herbal notes (thyme, fresh rosemary and a touch of mint). The palate is generous, enveloping and silky, with fine freshness and bright acidity. The attack is fruity and tangy, yet ripe and indulgent, showing notes of cranberry, blueberry, red cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, along with hints of tangy cocoa nibs, dark chocolate, coffee, toasted hazelnut and grilled oak in the background, plus touches of herbs (thyme, fresh rosemary, peppermint and a hint of blackcurrant leaf) and flowers (violet, lily). The tannins are firm and well-structured, slightly grippy yet wrapped in. The finish is long, mouthwatering and lively, with a delicate balsamic touch. Very good ageing potential.
