The Krug Vintage 2000 presents a bright golden robe and has bubbles of a rare finesse. On the nose, the bouquet is extremely rich and shows a remarkable complexity with fragrances of candied citrussy fruits, exotic fruits, apricot, honey and raisin. Afterwards, notes of cocoa, pastry and toasted almonds can be discovered, which enhance the bouquet of this champagne. Finally, vanilla and spicy accents underline the rest of the bouquet. The palate opens up on a distinctive freshness and a slow and steady increase in intensity. The finish amazes by its length and spicy note.
