A grand cru from the Côte de Nuits with an elegant, refined character

The estate

Founded in 1720 by Edme Champy, Champy is the oldest Beaune wine merchant house and the first Burgundy négociant-éleveur. Owned by the AdVini group since 2016 and led by Thierry Bellicaud and Dimitri Bazas, Domaine Champy farms more than 22 hectares of vines on the Côte de Beaune. Its singularity lies in its early commitment to organic and biodynamic farming, combining three centuries of historic legitimacy with cutting-edge viticultural practices.

The vineyard

The Echézeaux appellation covers 34.8 hectares on the prestigious Côte de Nuits. The vines are planted between 230 and 300 meters in altitude on a complex terroir of stony soils, red silts and marl. This mosaic of soils gives Echézeaux wines their unique character, combining power and finesse.
