Description
2005 Saint-Julien 2e Cru Classe from Bordeaux
Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou has been classified Second Cru from Medoc since 1855. The exceptional terroir located in Saint-Julien appellation stretches over 100 hectares (247 acres). The excellent 2005 vintage is a subtle blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The legendary wine from Bordeaux displays a very deep, intense red colour. The strong and structured nose is extremely complex. The 2005 Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou takes over the palate: the attack is quite alluring. Wonderful fullness and exceptional tannic structure follow finesse and harmony. The finish is without end.
