Description
A smooth and velvety Saint-Julien red wine
As a Cru bourgeois wine produced in the Saint-Julien appellation on a total area of 50 hectares, the Château Gloria boasts a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% of Petit Verdot.
At tasting, the Château Gloria 1996 shows a clear, bright colour. The nose reveals elegance and complexity with pine, flower and vanilla scents. On the palate, the wine has a lovely balance. The tannins are well-structured offering boldness, roundness and silkiness while the finish is beautifully long. A smooth and velvety wine.
