Château Peyrabon 2015

92–94. Barrel Sample. Dark tannins and layers of black-plum flavors give this wine weight and richness. The structure is there, showing a dry edge alongside spice and a juicy aftertaste.

Light crimson. Attractively toasty nose but without much concentration. Sweet, light, but not very ambitious. (JR)

Medium deep ruby red colour. Floral nose with sweet plum, red currant and cassis notes. Dense and medium bodied with a young texture, yet ripe tannin, fresh dark fruit flavours, tobacco, fine oak and a long finish.

2015 retains lovely elegance, with intensity. It needs to come together and settle in.
