Redcurrant, blueberry and cassis, with fairly high acidity that you can pick up from the fruit character on the nose, packed with juice. This has a fairly straightforward, old-school feel—tannins, menthol, bright fruit—and needs to soften further with ageing. Real purity of fruit. Good quality, tasted twice two weeks apart.

Blackcurrants, cassis, pine needles and oyster shells on the nose. Medium-bodied with firm, fine tannins. Linear and silky. Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc. Drink from 2023.

Flowers, herbs, spice and red fruits come through on the nose easily. On the palate, the wine is soft-textured, medium-bodied, fresh and already, disarmingly easy to taste and enjoy. The finish leaves you with energetic sweet and tart red berries. This is showing much better after the aging process. Drink from 2023-2034.

Dark core and a purple hue. Pure dark-fruited nose with violet, cassis and plum, no noticeable oak. Fairly dense, slightly austere palate with fresh acidity, savoury dark fruit and mild spices, fine material and length, still a bit youthful and restrained, needing another 1–2 years of ageing.

Medium-bodied, mid-weight, forward, and up-front, the 2019 Château Tour De Pez has a lighter ruby/purple color as well as attractive currant, sandalwood, and tobacco-like aromas and flavors. It's going to last for a decade.

The 2019 Tour de Pez is a blend of 63% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 9% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it gives up notes of black raspberries, Morello cherries, and blackcurrant pastilles, followed by hints of pencil shavings and dried lavender. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegant and refreshing, with soft tannins and an energetic finish.

Youthful bouquet revealing itself slowly. After a bit of aeration, it shows nuances of blackcurrant, raspberries, and grenadine—so plenty of freshness! Juicy on the palate, the wine is balanced and inviting. It’s quite easy-drinking, yet it also shows power. Not bad at all 😉
