Domaine Boris Champy : Bourgogne Aligoté Doré "Presse Verticale 429" 2022

As the name suggests, the 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté Doré Presse Verticale is pressed in a vertical press and is matured in 75% new 500-liter oak barrels. The nose has slightly more intensity, a little more yellow fruit and perhaps a tad more richness. It is interesting to compare this directly with the regular cuvée: there is just a touch more depth and structure towards the finish, though the fruit profile is essentially the same.
