The estate
Created in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son Christophe, Domaine de la Mordorée now spans 42 hectares in the Southern Rhône Valley, spread across eight communes. Now run by Madeleine Delorme and her daughter Ambre since Christophe’s passing in 2015, the estate produces wines under the appellations Tavel, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône and Condrieu. A pioneer of biodynamics since 2020, it stands out for its cuvées with poetic names inspired by the woodcock, notably "La Reine des Bois".
The vineyard
Tableau de Terroir "Les Galets" is a red vin de France from an exceptional terroir composed of rounded pebbles that give the wine its unique personality. The estate practices certified organic viticulture and applies Demeter biodynamic principles, ensuring total respect for the environment and for the expression of the terroir.
Winemaking and aging
The winemaking of Tableau de terroir « Les Galets » Mourvèdre 2024 respects tradition, with destemming followed by crushing of grapes from hand-harvested fruit and rigorous sorting. Maceration is carried out under temperature control to preserve the wine’s aromatic finesse and elegance.
