Domaine Laroche : Chablis 1er cru "Mont de Milieu" 2023

The 2023 Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru has a touch of coconut and almond on the nose that's more Chardonnay than Chablis. The palate is well balanced with tropical tones of apricot and mango, although its acidity maintains freshness and tension. The 2023 is not long, but it has charm and an easygoing nature that I appreciate. Tasted blind at the BIVB offices in Chablis.
