Domaine Laroche : Chablis 1er cru "Montée de Tonnerre" 2023

The 2023 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with red apple, orange blossom and crushed stone aromas. The palate is crisp and taut, with some assiduous use of new oak evident here as it feels very harmonious toward the peachy finish. It might lack a bit of Chablis typicité but this is quite delicious! Tasted blind at the BIVB offices in Chablis.
