Description
2008 Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru, Burgundy.
The 2008 Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru Les Quatre Journaux of Louis Latour combines purity and strength. Louis Latour has been the proprietor of a part of the Romanée-Saint-Vivant (0.80 hectares) since 1898. The ruby-tinted red wine reveals very intense red berry, black currant and cherry aromas on the nose. Sichuan pepper and grilled almond fragrances delicately express. This 2008 Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru Les Quatre Journaux palate is dominated by red berry aromas. The finish is long and well-balanced. This wine is still young and requires a few years of ageing in order to fully express.
