The minerality and the fruit’s crisp bite are heightened in this taffeta-like finish, enhanced by a limestone gravel terroir that is clearly perceptible on the finish. A notable freshness in a cuvée that offers an extra touch of precision compared with Terre de Jonquières, which was already far from lacking it.

Cambariolles 2020, from the eponymous vineyard, is, as usual, a reserved and vertical wine in its youth. It is smoky, wild, very straight, with a pared-down, uncompromising structure. It has great pedigree and brilliantly expresses the tension of the limestone gravels.
