The 2024 1961 Block Riesling is aromatically chalky and talcy, with notes of pressed flowers, wet river stones and cheesecloth. In the mouth, the wine is tightly coiled (as we would expect) and mineral, with white spice notes and white fruit to close. It's a very pretty, almost steely wine with great acid and structure that is persistent through the long finish. 12% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
