William Fèvre : Chablis Grand cru "Vaudésir" Domaine 2023

Apple, green plum and briny seashore notes are allied with a rich texture in this supple white. There’s a nice underlying chalkiness. Shows fine balance and length. Drink now through 2033. 50 cases imported.

Cask/tank sample. High-toned. Sculpted and refreshing, though it would already be approachable, even if it would be a shame to drink it before it has developed more tertiary notes. (JR)
