The estate
A true emblem of wine heritage, Château du Moulin-à-Vent has been established since 1732 on the prestigious eponymous appellation in northern Beaujolais. Over three centuries of history have seen three families succeed one another who, despite distinct paths, have all shared the same conviction: the preeminence of Moulin-à-Vent. Under the impetus of the Parinet family since 2009, the estate has experienced a remarkable renaissance, driven by the audacity and commitment of two innovative spirits, Édouard Parinet and Brice Laffond. Animated by enthusiasm, curiosity and a deep passion, they craft exceptional wines that accurately express the great terroirs of Beaujolais.
The vineyard
This wine from the Moulin-à-Vent appellation comes from parcels located in the far north of Beaujolais, on a mosaic of soils marked by gorrhe, manganese and iron oxide. The cuvée is produced from vines with an average age of 60 years.
