Vinum

Behavior on the nose, with dark fruit and mineral undertones; soft, rounded attack, showing a certain opulence while remaining elegant, sweet fruit core, good length. Harmonious, built for medium-term maturity.

Decanter

Highly perfumed aromatics. Full and filling for the vintage, massy tannins have a lovely texture – chewy but fine and cool too, giving a gentle bounce to this expression with crystalline fruit and lovely mineral edges. This has a glossy feel, ripe and concentrated fruit with a perfectly sculpted frame. Feels very classy and full of sweet and lifted acidity. Great stuff here. Love this. 5% Petit Verdot completes the blend. Tasted twice.

56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Cask sample. Berry fruit with a minty freshness. Layered fruit on the palate, the tannins firm but fully integrated. Plenty of persistence on the finish. Has the substance and structure to age. (JL)

Flowers, currants, cherries, and tobacco resonate on the nose, and on the medium-bodied, soft, fruity, red-berry-packed palate. The wine is fresh, forward, and fruity, so you can enjoy it on, or just shortly after, release. Drink from 2027-2038. 90-92 pts

Le Figaro Vin

A soft, fresh, fairly energetic nose where cherry jam, morello cherry and raspberry are wrapped in floral and incense notes. This vibrancy is clearly perceptible on a smooth, harmonious palate, very fruity and gentle. Fruit and floral notes intertwine in perfect balance, like a pair of principal dancers in flawless sync.

Yves Beck

Plenty of freshness in Gloria's bouquet with notes of eucalyptus, roasted bell pepper and blueberries. Supported by tannins that are still somewhat angular, it has density and vigour. It owes this latter quality to the tension of acidity which ensures freshness and character. A salivating and flavourful wine that needs to gain in body. Ageing will contribute to this.

Jean-Marc Quarin

Deep, intense purple colour. Highly aromatic nose, with ripe fruit and a slight smoky note. Supple on entry, flavoursome on the mid-palate, with a precise, smooth progression; the wine finishes sappy with finely tuned tannins. Normal length. Blend: 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc. Alcohol content: 13.2% - pH: 3.60. Yield: 34 hl/ha. Production: 175,000 bottles.
