2012 Margaux Troisieme Cru Classe
The 2012 Chateau Palmer is 48% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 6% Petit Verdot. The rich and vigorous Merlot is reminiscent of the exceptional vintages of the end of the past decade. The Cabernets Sauvignons are as neat and precise as the 2008 vintage. This unusual combination brings forth the harmony between thick, delicate, and subtle characters of Chateau Palmer wines. The 2012 Chateau Palmer should peak between 2022 and 2040.
