A beautifully intense red, a dark, brilliant carmine. The dominant niellucciu brings freshness, bursts of cherry, spice, and Sichuan pepper over a backdrop of scrubland and dried herbs. For the estate’s flagship cuvée, it already shows, even in its youth, plenty of personality. We are charmed by the quality of the tannins that wrap this ripe, precious juice, a framework without excess, subtly infused, all in freshness to ensure overall drinkability. The oak maturation in foudres and demi-muids is discreet; everything is already in place to be enjoyed now and over nearly 10 years.
