Domaine Henri Rebourseau : Chambertin Grand cru 2020

Forward currant fruit character, with notes of fresh flowers and spice. The texture is silky and fine, if lacking a bit of depth. This is nicely balanced and elegant, but lacks some of the power this wine should have. The Rebourseau plot of Chambertin is 0.46ha, located at the northern end on the border with Mazis. The fruit is mostly destemmed and given a moderate maceration prior to fermentation and gentle extraction.

More indulgent than powerful on the attack, all in finesse, its strength is only perceived at the very end, with remarkable length on the palate.
