Vineyard

Feudi del Pisciotto oversees a Sicilian 44-hectare vineyard planted with both indigenous varieties (Nero d’Avola, Frappato) and international varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sémillon, and Gewürztraminer).

Wine

Produced since 2007 from top terroirs in Niscemi, this Frappato Carolina Marengo for KISA 2018 from Feudi del Pisciotto is an IGT Terre Siciliane wine that, through its power, breadth, and elegance, reflects all the complexity and refinement of great Sicilian wines.

Winemaking and aging

Harvested during the first week of October, the grapes undergo vinification in stainless steel tanks. Aging for 10 months in barriques is followed by an additional 8 months of bottle aging.
