Intense and full-bodied, the 2022 Corbières Boutenac La Forge is a blend of Carignan and Syrah, aged for 12 months in Bordeaux barrels, then a further 12 months in bottle to allow it to blend more harmoniously. Fresh, with very dense but fine tannins, it maintains its balance despite its concentration, displaying a bouquet of black fruit, blueberry, blackberry, and elderberry, but also blood orange zest and menthol. Best decanted. Drink 2025-2030.
