An alluring bouquet, floral notes, marzipan, violet, wild berries; approachable on the palate, silky tannins, delicate fruit, showing balance, freshness and good length; very harmonious!

Floral and perfumed notes, cedar and cinnamon with violets and roses. Gorgeous purity and definition to this with ripe fruit and just chewy, chalky tannins. I like this a lot, feels super delicate but filling also. Finessed and gentle but so easy to enjoy and drink. Defined and refined, with strawberry and cherry fruit, licks of stone and liquorice and a long finish. Tannins are great and no overt spiciness here. Great texture and sense of energy and focus. Still with freshness and the cool minerality of the vintage. Ageing 50% in new barrels and 50% from barrels of one vintage for 15 months. Les Griffons de Pichon Baron represents 15% of the production. 3.62pH.

Black cherries, flowers, and dark chocolate are what you first find in the perfume. Equally fresh and elegant on the palate, the red fruits are vivid, soft, and crisp, with hints of spice and a cool, background note of mint at the end of the finish. The wine blends 56% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Cabernet Franc. 12.9% ABV, 3.62 pH. Drink from 2028-2044. 91-93 pts
