Les Vignes Oubliées : Terrasses du Larzac 2022

Aged in a hidden cave, this is a serene, cool-headed wine with mulberry and loganberry fruit shot through with a peppery, minty lift. There’s a deep rumbling core, taut tannins and fine acidity, a complex interplay of light and dark. Organic.

Terrasses du Larzac is a dense, dark and deep wine, yet it already shows very fine grain, a lovely acidic backbone, and takes us between licorice and aromatic herbs. The promise of long aging is there.

Cocoa, coffee beans, rosemary and black currants on the nose of this ripe and tasty red. It’s full-bodied with mouth-coating, powdery tannins. Long and creamy finish. Drink now or hold.
