Louis Jadot : Bâtard-Montrachet Grand cru 2020

It is classic Bâtard, rich and almost honeyed. The wine avoids heaviness, however, and simply leans toward the richer side of the spectrum. This is made from fruit purchased from the Puligny side, most of it from very old vines. It is done in large, double-sized casks to reduce the influence of the wood.

Powerful and broad but less refined than Magenta’s Abbaye de Morgeot!
