The estate
Founded in 1842 in the heart of the Douro, Niepoort is an essential reference among the finest wines of Duriense. For five generations, the Niepoort family has been passionately crafting ports renowned for their great quality, the result of a blend between ancestral expertise and exceptional terroir. The vineyard
Niepoort oversees a Portuguese vineyard benefiting from a continental microclimate sheltered from marine influences by the surrounding mountains. Deeply rooted, the vines are planted on predominantly schistous soils.
