The 2024 Patrimonio E-Croce comes from one of Patrimonio's finest terroirs, composed of clay-limestone soils interspersed with schist that give the wine diabolical precision and make it a powerful expression of Vermentinu. In 2024, the wine expresses itself with stony notes and a well-judged reduction. The texture is pure, lively, balanced, and very dynamic. A mineral wine, skillfully vinified and of great style, this is a vibrant, fresh white to enjoy now through 2030.

Lieu-dit E Croce. Clay-limestone soil over a schist bedrock. Hillsides facing southwest. The fresh, subtle bouquet heralds a precise, complex wine. Citrus nuances, complemented by notes of white-fleshed fruit, white pepper and flint, highlight its diversity. Slightly saline on the attack, the wine is linear, fine, and supported by an acidity that is both refreshing and structuring. A fine achievement.

Full bottle 1,449 g. 100% Vermentino from their best plots in the E Croce commune. Southwest-facing slopes on clay limestone over schist. Hand-picked. Whole-bunch pressed, cold-settled at 8 °C for 24 hours, fermented for 15–20 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel at 18 °C, aged six months in stainless steel, no malo. Hawthorn blossom on the light and fragrant nose. A sunny abundance of white peaches and bergamot within a star-bright frame of acidity, stippled with salt spray. Creamy parabola curves turn citrus to lemon curd and candied peel. Sweet, luminous-green soft herbs: basil, lemon balm, angelica. Very fragrant. Very pure. Cold-wet-pebble stoniness on the finish.
