Albert Bichot : Chablis 1er cru "Les Beugnons" Dom. Long-Depaquit 2023

Engaging ripe melon and pear aromas mark this seductive premier cru from Long-Depaquit. The wine is approachably elegant, with a soft, silky texture and a plump feel on the palate. The grapes are from 2.2ha at the base of the left-bank premier cru which forms part of Vaillon. The location higher on the slope in marl and clay soils accounts for the richness of this bottling; the grapes are lightly crushed and fermented exclusively in tank.
