The 2024 Riesling Dudenstein Sommerberg Grand Cru unites vines planted in 1946 and 1952, rooting in a part of the Grand Cru where the granite blends with limestone and some sandstone. A lovely note of white peach and ripe greengage clocks in immediately, signaling that this is slightly richer but just as pristine, with a touch more charm yet the same citric intent and drive. It is spectacularly aromatic and totally lip-smacking. Wow. (Bone-dry)
