The nose is precise, elegant, full of subtlety and restraint. It reveals notes of vibrant boysenberry, cherry and, more delicately, small blue fruits, joined by a touch of lilac, fine hints of cinnamon, blond tobacco and a subtle hint of bergamot. The palate is fruity, racy, well-framed, precise and tense, offering juiciness, lovely minerality, an elegant through-line, accuracy, energy, and a fine grain/freshness. On the palate, the wine shows notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, small red berries and a light hint of rose, combined with touches of fresh lilac and fresh plum, as well as fine hints of fresh blond tobacco, cinnamon, a subtle hint of licorice, vanilla and cola on the finish. Good length.
