Decanter

Intense yellow-gold colour. Discreet on the nose initially, opening to elegant citrus fruits and white flowers. The palate delivers vibrant freshness with vibrant acidity, balancing its candied richness. A slightly medicinal hint adds intrigue. 125 g/l residual sugar.

58% Sémillon, 42% Sauvignon Blanc. RS 125 g/L. Certified organic. Cask sample. Pale gold. Mandarin and marmalade notes. Sweet but zesty at the same time. Clean and lingering. Bitter, botrytised finish. Harmonious and appealing now. Clearly on an upward curve. (JL)

Honeyed, white peaches, pineapples, vanilla, and apricots create the core of the wine here. Fresh, vibrant, sweet, and with a spicy note that rides on top of its vanilla, and honeyed, yellow, tropical fruits, you can enjoy this on release and for about 15 years with pleasure. Drink from 2027-2040. 90-92 Pts

Le Figaro Vin

All roundness and opulence, the nose opens with ripe aromas of apricot, yellow peach, papaya and smoked paprika. Fresher on the palate, it offers a tangy backbone reminiscent of pineapple, passion fruit and nectarine, accompanied by energetic mineral and citrus notes. This freshness carries through to the finish and counterbalances a creamy sweetness.

Love the slightly bitter orange and lime-zest crispness on the aromatics—this is lovely quality: preserved citrus and nectarine pit, with beautiful lift through the finish. Famille Helfrich. 13 hl/ha

Golden yellow color with green highlights. An intense, refined nose—fruity and pure. Delicate on entry, very aromatic on the mid-palate, with a melting texture and a lovely progression of vibrancy, the wine finishes long, taut and fragrant. Really very good. Another success for the vintage. An incredible app! Blend: 58% Sémillon, 42% Sauvignon Blanc. Alcohol: 13% - pH: 3.7. Residual sugar: 125 g/L. Yield: 13 hL/ha. Production: 13,000 bottles.
