Compact, with good length, fine-grained tannins, and a pleasant herbal finish.

This has good intensity, with dark macerated plum, black currant and warm blackberry compote flavors, studded with fruitcake and ganache notes. The ganache edge lingers through the fleshy finish. Best from 2016 through 2020. 3,250 cases made.

Lots of cassis fruit and good grip, still a bit green, but should round out.

Normal-intensity, purple color. Fruity, vanilla-scented, perfumed nose. Medium-bodied palate, fruity and perfumed. Tannins slightly firm on the finish. Medium length.

New-wood spice dominates the aroma of this wine, given weight by the rich black plum fruits and concentrated acidity. With its big structure and equally big fruits, this is an impressive wine for long aging. Drink from 2022.
