Medium ruby, delicate, fine nose, spicy, with cherries, blackcurrants and violets; straightforward, compact, delicate fruit, plenty of drive and freshness, silky tannins, pronounced acidity; balanced, with blackcurrant and a touch of blood orange on the finish. Very drinkable here.

80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. A complete wine with everything in place. Already open and fragrant. Supple and smooth with sufficient volume. Fresh but balanced, with firmness and length on the finish. (JL)

Underbrush, flowers, strawberries, tobacco, and cherries provide the wine its fragrant profile. Medium-bodied, soft, juicy, and fresh, the wine is elegant, with lift, energy, and a hint of crushed stone at the backend of the finish. 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc create the blend. Drink from 2027-2040. 91-93 pts
