Description
Characteristics and tasting notes of the Reuilly 2025 from Domaine Dyckerhoff
Tasting
Appearance
The wine displays a pale straw-yellow hue, enhanced by delicate green highlights and a beautiful clarity.
Nose
Fresh and expressive, the nose reveals vibrant citrus aromas such as grapefruit and lemon, harmoniously intertwined with notes of white flowers, green apple and freshly cut grass.
Palate
The palate offers a crisp texture and a medium body, carried by a lively acidity. It unfolds flavours of lime, green apple and subtle hints of white peach. A refined minerality and a touch of salinity bring complexity, leading to a long, clean and refreshing finish.
Food and wine pairings
This white wine pairs wonderfully with seafood, particularly oysters, grilled prawns or a ceviche. It also enhances cheeses such as goat's cheese or feta, as well as dishes based on spring vegetables such as asparagus or courgettes.
Serving and cellaring
For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to serve this Reuilly 2025 at a temperature between 11 and 12°C. This wine reveals its full potential in its youth and should be drunk until around 2028.

The estate
Located in the Cher department, in the heart of the Loire Valley in France, Domaine Dyckerhoff is a family estate whose commercial production began in 2004. Now run by its founders, Christian and Bénédicte Dyckerhoff, the estate has quickly established itself as a leading ambassador of its appellation. Drawing on an Alsatian winemaking heritage and a deep local agricultural knowledge, the couple cultivate their land with passion. Certified High Environmental Value, the estate stands out for its commitment to sustainable viticulture, producing wines that faithfully reflect the identity of their terroir.
The vineyard
This Reuilly wine comes from a vineyard covering 6 to 8 hectares, planted on soils composed of Kimmeridgian limestone, clay, gravelly sand and marl. The vines, averaging 15 years of age, benefit from a cool climate and farming practices certified High Environmental Value, promoting biodiversity and controlled yields to ensure optimal grape quality.
The vintage
The year was marked by warm and dry growing conditions, ensuring a very low risk of disease and healthy fruit development. While the young vines may have experienced some mild water stress, the cool nights typical of the region helped preserve a lovely acidity. These favourable weather conditions led to an early and swift harvest.
Winemaking and ageing
The making of this Reuilly 2025 begins with a cold maceration and a gentle pressing. Fermentation then takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, with no time in oak barrels, in order to preserve all the freshness and aromatic vibrancy of the fruit.
Grape variety
100% Sauvignon Blanc.
