Domaine Laroche : Chablis 1er cru "Les Vaillons Vieilles Vignes" 2023

The 2023 Chablis Vaillons Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru has a touch of reduction on the nose, but there is definitely a decent Vaillons behind that, which the mineralité percolates through. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with a subtle vanilla pod note mixed with wild peach. This has fine weight and tension with commendable complexity on the finish. The 2023 is lovely.
