A mild showing of pencil shavings, leafy tones and barely lifted fleshy hints introduce the 2021 Saint-Joseph, a lightly concentrated and peppy red Saint-Joseph to be enjoyed straight out of the gate.

A gentle-edged red, with a fine, chalky texture to its brambly red berry and dusty earth notes. Elegant and nicely understated, with graphite shaving details driving the refreshing, well-meshed finish. Drink now through 2032. 18,300 cases made, 350 cases imported.

Gently peppery and charmingly broody, the 2021 Saint-Joseph opens with aromas of spices, dark cherries and gentian. Medium- to full-bodied, balanced and delicate, it’s sappy and round, with bright acids that carry it to a long, gently ethereal finish.
