Fleshy yellow plum and dried apricot notes are up front in this stylish, big-boned white. Zesty, broad and fluid in feel, backed up with spices and fresh ginger. White tea tannins lend real structure through the expressive, full-bodied finish, with touches of shortbread and smoke. Marsanne and Roussanne. Spicy and delicately floral, the 2023 Saint-Joseph Blanc wafts from the glass with aromas of white fruits, spices, clove and crisp pear. Medium- to full-bodied, satiny and textural, it is balanced and concentrated, with chiseled acidity and good grip and cut.
