The 2021 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru stumbles out of the blocks on the nose, lacking the cohesion and finesse of the Blanchot. The palate is quite dry and austere on the entry, with sharp acidity and a lean, malic finish. I appreciate the spicy touch, but it feels hampered by the vintage.
