Plenty of concentration here, with mineral, flinty characters counterbalancing the ripeness of fruit on the palate. Good acidity. Will drink early but has the stuffing to age well. A fine gastronomic wine, finishing with a lovely salty note. Tank sample.

The 2020 Chablis La Sereine, from a selection of parcels, has a dainty bouquet of green apple and Conference pear. The palate is well balanced, opening with a hint of bell pepper, showing fine depth and a slightly Muscadet-like style—short yet characterful. Peppery on the finish.
