The nose is gracefully crafted, fruity, precise, elegant, with a beguiling side and a lovely finesse to its texture. It reveals notes of violet, pulpy blackcurrant and, more subtly, fresh pepper, with hints of lilac and clove. The palate is nicely juicy and fruity, offering minerality, tension, a clean, solid structure and a certain straightness, with fine floral, even sappy nuances, notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, vibrant blackcurrant and, more subtly, violet and iris, joined by touches of fresh red berries, a hint of crunchy purple plum and a toasted note. Precise, forthright tannins.
