Vinum

Already open, clear and pure on the nose, cassis, black cherry, subtle oak; delicate palate, fine, unobtrusive tannins, shows polish and charm; pleasantly long, red-fruited finish.

Decanter

Deep, vibrant nose, aromatic and scented with floral notes and soft hints of liquorice, earth, blackcurrants, black cherries and herbal-edged raspberries. Succulent and sharp, zingy and tangy straight away. Lovely purity and focus, with smooth but fine-grained tannins that make an impact and give a delicate yet highly appealing structure. Lovely precision and generosity here; it feels elegant and lively with good fruit persistence, mouthwatering acidity and energy. Intense yet pure, layered yet almost light, with an undercurrent of wet stone and graphite giving mineral touches alongside subtle spice. Well made and so easy to enjoy. pH 3.65. A yield of 38 hl/ha. 60% grand vin, 40% second wine. Eric Boissenot, consultant.

This baby Pauillac offers cassis, tobacco, cedar, and hints of peppery spice on the nose and a medium-bodied, soft, juicy, berry-filled palate. The wine blends 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2025-2032. 89-91 pts.

Falstaff

Deep ruby colour, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. Delicately smoky, red cherries, a hint of plums, candied orange zest. Slender, red berry nuances, firm tannins, medium length, fresh and uncomplicated, delicately mineral on the finish, a lively food wine, versatile.

Playful red-berry bouquet, fragrant violet and strawberry jelly. Mid-palate with a creamy texture, well-supported freshness and a compact body. Aromatic finish with redcurrant and light tobacco.

This is full of serious Pauillac tannins, great quality, with plenty of depth to the black fruits and acidity to underpin the palate. Firm in its framework, serious and with clear ability to soften over ageing, good quality, softened by edges of damp fern and rose petal aromatics. 3.6pH, 40% of production in this wine. 50% new oak for ageing.

Le Figaro Vin

Like a deep well that gradually reveals its mysteries with notes of bark, cinnamon stick, ripe blackcurrant and blueberry, and powdered iris. On the palate, tenderness takes the lead in a shimmering texture with delicate spicy nuances. A beautiful second wine that perfectly combines drinkability and seriousness, finishing with a gourmet touch of fresh coffee.

Nuances of graphite and black berries in the bouquet of Lacoste-Borie, which also shows great finesse. On the palate, the wine impresses with its freshness and character. It is precise, linear, and supported by compact, efficient, and carry-through tannins. A sapid and thirst-quenching wine.

Beautiful deep red. Extremely aromatic, precise nose, evolving cleanly. Nuances of black cherry and vanilla. Cocoa note. Airy palate, particularly fruity, unfolding with a lace-like touch. It goes down as easily as milk, flavorful and very good. Blend: 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc. Alcohol: 14% - pH: 3.62.
