Penfolds : Reserve Bin A Chardonnay 2023

The 2023 Bin A Reserve Chardonnay shimmies out of the glass with alluring notes of fresh yellow apples, white peaches, and grapefruit, leading to suggestions of shaved almonds and honeysuckle with a hint of brine. The light-bodied palate offers a satiny texture and great tension to offset the intense citrus and stone fruit flavors, finishing long and chalky. This wine was aged for 7 months in French oak barriques, 60% new.

Harmonious and well-balanced aromas, with notes of apple and citrus fruit, complemented by a pleasant oak savouriness, mineral and smoky nuances. On the palate, a beautiful balance of freshness and smoothness, a long finish with herbal notes and a touch of salt.
