James Suckling

This stylish, complex and elegantly powerful Champagne is the pinnacle of Gosset’s range and delivers such layered, fresh and complex style. The palate has a super smooth-honed, long and plush feel with a wealth of grilled almonds and grapefruit. Long, succulent draw through the finish. Magnificent. Drink now.

Antonio Galloni

The 2007 Extra-Brut Vintage Celebris is a great example of the house style. Powerful and rich, the 2007 has tremendous vinous intensity, balanced by a low dosage that gives the wine a sense of classic austerity. Orchard fruit, apricot, tangerine oil and white flowers emerge with a bit of coaxing. The Celebris is a big, broad-shouldered Champagne for the dinner table.

Bettane+Desseauve

Very beautiful golden yellow, a blend that is almost perfectly balanced between pinot noir and chardonnay, with the latter slightly dominant. The nose is superbly consistent and displays rich, refined authenticity. Almonds and roasted nuts mingle with very juicy stone-fleshed white fruits and honeyed confectionery aromas. Light spices and autumnal dampness create a bewitching setting. The palate is gentle, highlighting flavors of dried nuts, honey, and fresh greens, with a finish resting on lemon peel. A lovely whole.

Le Figaro Vin

On the eye, a fine effervescence; on the nose, aromas of mountain flowers, gentian and viennoiserie, which then reveal a woody character that reappears on the palate, supported by a generous mousse and a slight bitterness on the finish.
