The NV Brut Origine, a blend of 70% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier based on the 2021 vintage with 30% reserve wines, showcases its Chardonnay dominance with lovely notes of lemony Mirabelle tart, creamy and sunny. Tasted from an earlier disgorgement last year, it benefited from more time on lees, as its slenderness is now supported by a creamier mousse. The NV Champagne Origine Brut is based around the 2020 vintage and is mostly Chardonnay with 20% Pinot Noir and 10% Meunier. The nose opens with a pretty and fruity profile, and it pours a medium yellow color, with aromas of fresh flowers, wet stones, white peach, and candied lemon. Medium-bodied and lively, it’s approachable and refreshing, with a clean, juicy feel, a spritely and refined mousse, and a clean finish. It’s a very appealing wine with a light saline finish to drink now or over the coming 5-7 years.
