Domaine Laroche : Chablis Village "Vieille Voye" 2023

This cheerful Chablis has smile-inducing aromas of honey-dipped apple slice, brioche and quince that are accented by gentle wisps of orange blossom. The palate is bright with lively acidity that swims into a fort of roasted lemon on the finish.

The 2023 Chablis Vieille Voye has a pungent nose of walnut oil and light honeysuckle notes. This lacks a bit of Chablis typicité but it's still quite attractive. The palate is well balanced with orange zest and apricot notes. This is a sun-kissed Chablis Village, yet the acidity keeps it fresh and tensile with a spicy finish that lingers.
