Domaine René Bouvier : Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru "Les Champeaux" 2020

Notes of wild berries, orange rind, plums, warm spices and forest floor introduce the 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Champeaux, a medium- to full-bodied, ample and nicely concentrated wine built around lively acids and fine, powdery tannins.

Tight and dense at the center of the palate, with dried strawberries and black fruits. It’s medium- to full-bodied, with polished, fine, velvety tannins that set this up nicely, giving you a wine that is very attractive now but will age beautifully. Best after 2025.
