Albert Bichot : Meursault 1er cru "Charmes" Dom. du Pavillon 2023

Tank sample. Certified organic (Ecocert). Hand-picked 9 September. Fermented and aged in oak barrels (30% new) for 15 months. Will be bottled in December 2024. A rich, generous, fleshy wine but it has precision as well. Full of succulence and flavour. Blood orange, pepper, mango, even a touch of passion fruit. Really approachable already. (TC)
