Au Pied du Mont Chauve : Saint-Aubin 1er cru "Le Charmois" 2020

This wine exhibits ripe black cherry tones, abundant violets, wild herbs, and fresh soil aromas, though it currently is a bit closed. On the palate, it reveals a beautiful ripeness with a concentration of blackberries, cassis, and blueberries. Savory spices are present but the wine currently feels a bit too young and austere to fully appreciate its subtle nuances. Delicious on its own, but allowing it to aerate will enhance its youthful charm. Aerate before enjoying or cellar through 2035+.
